Senior Estimation Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Estimation Engineer – Mechanical to lead the tendering and cost estimation process for large‑scale MEP projects. The successful candidate will work independently, delivering accurate mechanical cost estimates and competitive bids for high‑profile construction developments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions for MEP projects.
• Manage the full bidding cycle, including quantity surveying, material take‑offs, and pricing analysis.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments.
• Ensure timely submission of high‑quality, competitive bids.
• Liaise with internal departments to support tender preparation and project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• MMUP Grade A certification and QCDD certification (mandatory).
• 10–15 years of experience in an MEP contracting firm, handling large‑scale projects such as hospitality, airport, high‑rise, and industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical estimation, quantity surveying, and tendering procedures.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
