Senior Estimation & Tendering Manager (Civil)

About the role

The Senior Estimation & Tendering Manager (Civil) leads all cost planning and tender activities for major building construction projects, ensuring accurate estimates and competitive bids that support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of detailed cost estimates, quantity take‑offs and BOQ validation for civil and building projects.
• Manage the full tender process, coordinating engineering, procurement, commercial and operations teams to submit accurate bids on time.
• Analyse project profitability, conduct value‑engineering studies and assess commercial and contractual risks.
• Mentor and supervise estimation engineers and tendering staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Monitor market trends and support business‑development initiatives with technical and commercial input.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 12‑15+ years of estimation and tendering experience in construction.
• Proven track record on high‑rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare and mixed‑use projects.
• Strong leadership, analytical and negotiation skills with ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Quantity take‑off and BOQ preparation
• Cost estimation, budgeting and commercial evaluation
• Knowledge of structural, architectural and finishing works
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and contract administration
• Experience with Design & Build, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and Managing Contracts delivery models
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office applications
