Senior Estimator

About the role

The Senior Estimator leads the pre‑contract estimation and tendering process for construction and fit‑out projects. You will ensure accurate cost planning, risk assessment, and competitive bid preparation while supporting strategic bid decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and define scope, risks and bid strategy.
• Prepare precise quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, budgets and pricing proposals.
• Obtain, analyse and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify commercial, technical and contractual risks, assumptions and exclusions.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, planning and project teams to align solutions.
• Finalize tender submissions and advise management on bid approval.
• Support project hand‑over, variation assessments and commercial guidance during execution.
• Maintain estimation databases, market pricing information and historical cost records.
• Monitor tender performance, prepare reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and provide technical support to the estimating team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or related field.
• Minimum 8 years experience in construction estimation and tendering.
• At least 5 years experience in building construction and fit‑out projects.
• GCC experience preferred.
