Senior HR Analyst - Oil & Gas

About the role

A recruiter is sourcing a Senior HR Analyst for a national operator in the oil and gas sector, working on a long-term residential contract in Doha. The role starts as soon as possible, typically within one month's notice, and covers workforce data, analysis, planning and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse workforce structure and data governance: check position data and job architecture against approved standards and recommend corrections.
• Build workforce cost analyses and compensation trend assessments, including pay equity gaps, to support cost optimisation and internal equity.
• Develop workforce planning and headcount forecasts with HR Business Partners, highlighting gaps, risks and budget alignment issues.
• Improve HR system reporting and dashboards, and map governance and compliance requirements against current reporting.
• Support HR projects and initiatives by analysing their HR implications, risks and dependencies.
• Collect and interpret data from multiple sources, refine reporting outputs and improve data processes and analytical workflows.
• Engage stakeholders, escalate issues and contribute to client nationalisation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in HR analytics, HR systems, workforce planning, compensation analysis or similar analytical roles in the oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated experience in technical coordination, peer mentoring or knowledge transfer; no direct line management required.
