Senior Loan Consultant – Fusion Loan IQ Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Loan Consultant with deep expertise in Finastra’s Fusion Loan IQ platform to lead implementation and support activities for our banking clients. The role combines technical development, system integration, and functional consulting to ensure seamless loan processing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure Fusion Loan IQ modules, including customer setup, deal and facility building, portfolio management, and payment processing.
• Develop and maintain SDK scripts, inquiry scripts, event triggers, and scripted APIs/batches.
• Debug interface and functional issues, manage nightly batch processes, and generate GL entries via batch and online accounting.
• Collaborate with business analysts to review and translate Business Requirement Specifications into functional specifications and test cases.
• Conduct SIT/UAT testing, defect lifecycle management, and regression testing for core banking integrations.
• Produce technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for end‑users and support teams.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance and advise on system enhancements across banking and loan administration functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Fusion Loan IQ implementations and interface development.
• At least 4 years of experience in banking‑industry system support, with 3 years in IT.
• Proven ability to work with business specifications, create test cases, and manage defect lifecycles.

• Finastra Fusion Loan IQ (versions 7.7.x and MX)
• SDK development – inquiry scripts, event management, scripted APIs/batches
• Loan IQ data dictionary, RFR functionality, nightly batch processing
• Core Java/J2EE, XML, REST API
• Oracle database, PL/SQL packages and stored procedures
• Testing methodologies – SIT, UAT, regression testing
• Strong understanding of loan processing, accounting, pricing, accruals, and GL entry generation
