Senior Manager Development

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Senior Manager Development to lead the planning, structuring and execution of complex airport infrastructure programmes. The role translates strategic objectives into integrated development initiatives that boost capacity, operational efficiency and passenger experience while aligning with the Airport Master Plan and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Define long‑term airport development objectives and convert them into structured project plans aligned with the Master Plan and corporate strategy.
• Contribute to capital investment portfolio development, ensuring financial sustainability and strategic alignment.
• Support governance forums by preparing business cases, investment plans and risk assessments.
• Champion smart technologies, sustainability practices and AI‑enabled planning tools across development programmes.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, finance and commercial teams for integrated planning and execution.
• Lead major infrastructure programmes, including airside assets, utilities, IT and baggage systems, ensuring coherent portfolios with KPIs, milestones and benefit‑realisation plans.
• Monitor project performance, manage delivery risks and ensure readiness for operational integration.
• Mentor Development Managers and Project Sponsors, fostering accountability and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in airport development or capital programme management.
• Proven success managing large‑scale, regulated capital development projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
