Senior Manager – General Lines

About the role

We are looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead a portfolio of corporate clients in Qatar. The Senior Manager – General Lines will combine strong client relationships with technical broking expertise to protect businesses and drive Aon’s market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Research client businesses and risk profiles to design tailored insurance programmes.
• Prepare and deliver presentations that showcase Aon’s solutions and the value of the broker role.
• Structure, market and place insurance programmes, including preparing slips, negotiating quotations, and securing cover for new business, mid‑term changes and renewals.
• Manage policy administration and compliance, including KYC/AML (QFCRA) and documentation.
• Coordinate claims notifications, follow‑up with insurers/adjusters, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain regular client contact, informing them of renewals, coverage changes, and policy conditions.
• Monitor premium and fee collection in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to grow revenue and strengthen broker‑underwriter relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance broking or corporate insurance client servicing.
• Strong client‑facing and presentation abilities.
• Extensive commercial insurance technical knowledge.
• ACII qualification.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s regulatory environment (QFCRA) is an advantage.
