Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator to own and operate the certified, compliant Microsoft foundation that underpins our ADAPT platform. Based in Doha, you will lead the consolidation of multiple Microsoft 365 tenants into a single enterprise tenant and later support our energy‑sector suppliers in becoming digitally ready.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute tenant‑to‑tenant migration of mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups with clear wave strategy, runbooks and rollback plans.
• Consolidate identity in Microsoft Entra ID, implement Conditional Access, MFA and least‑privilege access, and manage domain cut‑over.
• Maintain CSP/ISV/Reseller licensing relationships and ensure correct licensing in the new tenant.
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments and stage‑gate sign‑offs to leadership.
• Administer the consolidated Microsoft 365 estate following best practices for tenant, identity, endpoints, Defender and Purview compliance.
• Design and maintain segregated access for ventures and joint ventures, ensuring data isolation.
• Manage licensing hygiene, cost control, renewals and keep the environment audit‑ready.
• Assist ADAPT’s sell‑side suppliers in assessing, gap‑closing and onboarding onto secure Microsoft foundations.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering enterprise Microsoft 365 environments, including migrations and identity management.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security and compliance tools such as Defender and Purview.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and provide status reporting.
• Experience working with Microsoft partners and managing licensing agreements.
