Senior Procurement Engineer – Road Projects

About the role

QD-SBG is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to lead procurement activities on road construction projects in Doha. The role involves managing the full procurement cycle, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and delivering value through effective supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for road infrastructure works.
• Prepare, evaluate and negotiate contracts with main contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with project teams to align procurement plans with construction schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in road or construction projects.
• Engineering degree (Bachelors) with a valid UP certification.
• Proven track record working with main contractors on road projects.
• Immediate availability preferred; transferable visa with NOC is advantageous.
