Senior Project Planning & Controls Engineer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Senior Project Planning & Controls Engineer in Doha. The role leads project planning, integrated schedule control, critical path analysis, progress monitoring, risk updates and management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling and project controls activities.
• Review and approve contractor schedules, work breakdown structures, progress measurement systems and planning procedures.
• Conduct critical path analysis and report schedule risks to management.
• Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning progress.
• Prepare senior management reports, presentations, dashboards and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate planning interfaces between EPC contractors, subcontractors and project teams.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in oil & gas / petrochemical projects.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior planning roles on large-scale EPC projects.
• Fluent in English and proficient in planning software.

Required skills

• Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and PMP certification are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, schedule integration, progress measurement, EPC planning, risk analysis and management reporting.
