Senior Project Professional

About the role

The Senior Project Professional will manage and control projects for the Qatar Technical Institute, a training centre for the Qatar Armed Forces located on Al Udeid Airbase. The role combines day‑to‑day operational management with long‑term solution mobilisation, working closely with the QAF customer and BAE Systems governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management and control for Specialty Type Training delivery.
• Own major work elements, CSR inputs and reporting requirements.
• Manage the Technical Institute Resourcing and Capacity Plans, including sub‑contracts.
• Maintain a robust change process compliant with programme and organisational standards.
• Ensure adherence to BAE Systems Project Control & Management governance.
• Integrate with Qatar‑based facilities, MoB and branch office entities.
• Support solution definition, requirement compilation and initial cost estimating for new business opportunities.
• Act as focal point for contract changes, export control queries and change control processes.

Required profile

• Professionalism and maturity from day one.
• Experience in both customer‑facing and training environments.
• Ability to deploy immediately to Qatar and work with UK‑based functions.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills for CSR, OPR and risk documentation.
