Senior Project Specialist – MRO Business Development

About the role

The Senior Project Specialist will lead the execution, monitoring, documentation and risk management of MRO Business Development projects in Doha. This role ensures projects stay on schedule, meet strategic objectives and deliver defined outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning and execution, monitor progress and organise review meetings.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, expense tracking and reporting.
• Develop business cases and justify investments to support project initiatives.
• Drive the creation and execution of a comprehensive project roadmap aligned with MRO objectives.
• Ensure end‑to‑end execution across all MRO functional areas, collaborating with IT, Finance, Procurement, Contracts, CAMO and other units.
• Act as the central point of contact for stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Monitor compliance with project charters, SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
• Govern and continuously improve the MRO project management framework and promote best practices.
• Oversee department objectives, supervise staff, and support talent development.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MRO Business Development projects.
• Strong project management and financial management capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Track record of developing business cases and delivering project roadmaps.
• Leadership skills to supervise staff and drive departmental objectives.
