Senior Projects Engineer

About the role

The Senior Projects Engineer will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects, including unit renovations, building developments, and improvement works. Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, the role ensures projects meet time, budget, and quality targets while supporting operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage unit‑level renovation planning and execution to meet fast‑turnaround requirements.
• Develop and maintain the overall capital projects programme aligned with client priorities.
• Define project scopes, objectives, schedules, milestones, and business cases.
• Oversee design development, tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Supervise contract preparation, negotiation, and compliance with procurement policies.
• Monitor construction and renovation activities, conduct site inspections, and ensure coordination among contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Control CAPEX budgets, track costs, review change orders, and provide financial updates.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and integrate with asset lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing capital construction or renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle from design through handover.
• Ability to work under the guidance of a Capital Projects Manager and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
