Senior Sales Officer - Home Furniture & Curtains

About the role

ABYAT, a large retail store in the Middle East offering home improvement products such as tiles, wallpapers, lighting and kitchen fixtures, is looking for a Senior Sales Officer in Doha, Qatar. The role covers home furniture, fabric and curtains and digital imaging, and involves managing sales opportunities independently and delivering customised home solutions and an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations to understand customer requirements.
• Recommend customised home solutions based on functionality and aesthetics.
• Prepare detailed quotations and proposals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from consultation to closure.
• Handle customer objections and negotiations effectively.
• Build strong relationships with repeat customers and referral networks.
• Support and guide junior sales staff when required.
• Coordinate with design, production and installation teams.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, furniture or interior solutions sales.
• Proven record of sales target achievement.

Required skills

• Ability to manage complex customer requirements.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
