Senior Security Architecture Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Architecture Expert to join a leading consulting engagement supporting a major enterprise in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on security‑by‑design reviews, risk assessment, and the definition of security controls for new technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security architecture assessments for new enterprise solutions and Solution Design Documents.
• Review proposed architectures to ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity standards and security‑by‑design principles.
• Identify security risks, architectural gaps, and vulnerabilities, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Define security requirements for applications, infrastructure, cloud, and digital platforms, recommending preventive, detective, and corrective controls.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders in architecture review boards.
• Support cybersecurity governance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Security Architect, Enterprise Security Consultant, or Cybersecurity Architecture professional.
• Proven track record supporting large enterprises, consulting firms, financial institutions, or government organizations.
• Strong advisory and strategic mindset with the ability to influence design decisions.
• Available for a 12‑month contract/freelance engagement.
