Senior SOC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SOC Engineer to lead advanced security monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management across enterprise IT, OT, and cloud environments in Doha. The role is pivotal for enhancing cyber‑resilience through proactive threat hunting, incident response, and continuous SOC maturity improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform real‑time monitoring and incident response using SIEM, XDR/EDR, NDR, OT and cloud security platforms.
• Develop, tune and manage detection rules and use cases aligned with MITRE ATT&CK, reducing false positives.
• Lead the full vulnerability management lifecycle, correlating findings with threat intelligence and prioritising remediation.
• Conduct hypothesis‑driven threat hunting and integrate intelligence feeds into detection platforms.
• Document root cause analyses, maintain audit‑ready evidence and produce executive‑level security reports.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in IT security operations or information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• One of the mandatory certifications: Tenable Certified Nessus Professional, Tenable Certified Security Center, Qualys VMDR Specialist or Qualys WAS Specialist.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR and SOAR platforms.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies.
• Vulnerability management, CVSS scoring and remediation validation.
• Log parsing, data normalization and correlation rule development.
• Incident response, root cause analysis and security reporting.
