Senior Software Engineer – Oracle OSM, OEP & OEM

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer and Subject Matter Expert with extensive experience in Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM), Oracle Order Entry Point (OEP) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) within the telecommunications sector. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining complex order fulfilment workflows and supporting the full order lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain Oracle OSM 7.x/8.x cartridges and telecom order fulfilment workflows.
• Manage end‑to‑end order lifecycle: capture, decomposition, orchestration, fulfilment and completion.
• Perform OSM installation, upgrades, configuration and data migration.
• Develop and enhance OEP middleware components, integrations, notification frameworks and bulk order management solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations with OSS/BSS platforms such as UIM, ASAP, BRM and CRM.
• Create automation plug‑ins, XQuery transformations, SOAP services and Java‑based solutions.
• Administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments, including installation, patching, tuning and scaling.
• Configure and manage OEM for system performance monitoring, health checks and incident handling.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Troubleshoot order fallout issues and conduct impact assessments.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of experience in Oracle OSM, OEP and OEM within telecommunications.
• Strong background in Java/J2EE development and Spring Framework.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Camel, XML technologies (XQuery, XPath, SOAP).
• Proficiency in Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
• Solid SQL, PL/SQL and Shell scripting skills on Linux/Unix platforms.
• Familiarity with Ant build tool, Git, Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Domain knowledge of GSM, Voice, Data, Wireless, DSL and VoIP services.
