Senior Systems Analyst (Finance)

About the role

As a Senior Systems Analyst (Finance) you will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of SAP finance solutions for Nakilat and its joint ventures. You will work closely with finance, treasury and IT teams to automate processes and ensure compliance with Qatari regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO/FSCM implementation projects and provide ongoing system support.
• Deliver post‑implementation support for finance, controlling, project systems and treasury modules.
• Assist finance and treasury divisions with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including GR/IR clearing, currency valuation and internal order settlement.
• Collaborate with SAP ABAP and Basis teams to design custom developments, enhancements and role‑based authorizations.
• Implement legal requirements such as Qatari withholding tax.
• Create training materials and conduct SAP training for end‑users.
• Design and configure enhancements, RFC changes and resolve break‑fix tickets.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards using Power BI and SAP Data Sphere.
• Maintain documentation for RFCs, project configurations and business processes.
• Analyse issues with business users, document problems and provide solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Specialised certification in SAP FICO/FSCM.
• 5‑7 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in a similar finance‑systems role.
• Strong client‑facing, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori apps and system integrations.
