Senior Treasury Officer – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Treasury Officer with deep expertise in oil & gas cash flow dynamics and financial risk management. The role will oversee daily liquidity, FX and commodity hedging, and debt administration across a multi‑entity group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash and liquidity positions for all bank accounts and entities.
• Prepare short‑term and medium‑term cash flow forecasts linked to production revenue and CAPEX programmes.
• Execute and settle FX transactions, monitor currency exposures and maintain hedging positions per risk policy.
• Oversee commodity price hedging programmes, including execution, settlement and mark‑to‑market reporting.
• Administer debt facilities, coordinate drawdowns, repayments, interest payments and covenant compliance.
• Develop and maintain bank relationships, negotiate fees, credit facilities and trade finance instruments.
• Manage intercompany funding, cash‑pooling structures and intra‑group loan documentation.
• Ensure timely settlement of royalties, petroleum taxes and NOC obligations.
• Prepare treasury reports for senior management covering liquidity, hedging effectiveness, FX exposure and debt maturity.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of treasury, cash management or financial risk experience.
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas cash flow, production‑linked revenues and CAPEX cycles.
• Hands‑on experience with FX risk management, commodity hedging and debt administration.
• Familiarity with IFRS 9, hedge accounting and fair‑value measurement.
• Experience in multi‑currency environments and treasury management systems is preferred.
