Senior UI Artist

About the role

WarForge Studio is creating an ambitious new 4X strategy game and needs a Senior UI Artist to define and implement its visual identity. You will work hands‑on in Unity, shaping the look, motion and feel of the user interface from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Define the visual language, motion style and overall UI feel from early direction through final implementation.
• Create high‑quality UI art for screens, HUDs, menus, buttons, icons, pop‑ups, rewards and feature interfaces.
• Implement, polish and maintain UI directly in Unity, owning the end‑to‑end pipeline.
• Translate wireframes and design intent into clear, responsive UI.
• Build reusable components, layout patterns and standards that scale with the project.
• Maintain a UI style guide covering typography, iconography, color, hierarchy, motion and interaction feedback.
• Collaborate closely with designers, the Art Director, VFX, technical artists, engineers and production.
• Optimize UI assets for mobile performance, memory, draw calls and varied screen sizes.
• Identify visual, technical or workflow issues early and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• Significant mobile game UI experience, preferably on mid‑core titles.
• Strong visual design fundamentals: layout, hierarchy, composition, color, typography and iconography.
• Self‑driven and organized, able to prioritize tasks without constant direction.
• Portfolio showcasing mobile game UI with visual quality, motion and Unity implementation.
