Senior User Interface Designer

About the role

We are looking for a senior UI/UX designer who can act as a UX strategist, turning user‑behavior insights into measurable product improvements. You will own the end‑to‑end experience of our web (Next.js) and native mobile (iOS/Android) applications, making journeys more delightful and conversion‑focused.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full user journey for assigned product areas, from landing page through search, listing, detail, contact, payment and post‑sale, identifying friction points and proposing fixes.
• Design with data: formulate hypotheses, collaborate with analytics, run A/B tests, interpret funnel drop‑offs and iterate based on results.
• Ensure every flow has a measurable lead‑generation or conversion goal, balancing aesthetics with performance.
• Benchmark against regional and global competitors, close gaps and create opportunities to leap ahead.
• Elevate the design system, component library, accessibility standards, RTL/Arabic support and mobile‑first patterns.
• Partner with engineering to deliver clear Figma specifications and review implementations before launch.
• Pitch 2–3 user‑experience experiments each quarter based on observed behavior.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior designers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product/UX design experience, with at least 3 years leading UX direction.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped products with measurable improvements.
• Expertise in user journey mapping, service blueprints, opportunity maps and data‑driven personas.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic, with proven RTL layout and Arabic typography experience.
• Experience in marketplace, classifieds or e‑commerce products is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Figma mastery – design systems, variants, auto‑layout, prototyping.
• Responsive web design and native mobile design (iOS HIG, Material Design).
• Next.js web development knowledge.
• iOS and Android design guidelines.
• RTL/Arabic design implementation.
• A/B testing and analytics fluency – Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or similar.
