Senior Vice President Asset Management Middle Office

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Asset Management Middle Office (Head of Trade Support & Data) is responsible for overseeing the full investment trade lifecycle for QNB Asset Management. The role ensures accurate, timely and compliant execution support, trade reconciliation, performance analytics, post‑trade controls and data governance while leading a multi‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee trade lifecycle across all asset classes, including execution support, reconciliation, compliance checks, cash coordination and performance analytics.
• Lead and manage Traders, Trade Support Analysts and Performance & Risk Analysts to achieve operational excellence.
• Define, enforce and monitor trade support policies, regulatory standards, internal mandates and audit controls.
• Establish and track KPIs and SLAs for post‑trade functions to drive efficiency and service quality.
• Act as escalation point for trade exceptions, settlement failures or compliance issues.
• Manage securities lending & borrowing, margin and collateral processes across portfolios.
• Drive digitisation, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives for trade and reporting workflows.
• Maintain and develop relationships with Booking Center clients for cross‑border trade coordination.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in asset‑management middle‑office operations and trade support.
• Proven leadership of multi‑disciplinary teams in a senior‑level role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, audit controls and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to design and monitor KPIs, SLAs and service‑delivery metrics.
• Experience handling securities lending, margin and collateral management.
• Track record of implementing digitisation and automation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, especially with cross‑border booking centres.
