Senior Vice President – Cyber Security Strategy & Product Management

About the role

The Senior Vice President will lead the Cyber Security Strategy and Product Management function within QNB’s Group Information Security (GIS) department. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic planning, market analysis, and budget ownership to protect the bank’s digital assets and support its long‑term business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain the IT security strategy aligned with QNB’s corporate objectives.
• Participate in annual IT security business planning, set short‑term goals and provide periodic performance reviews.
• Define and monitor Technology Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across the Group.
• Conduct market research on emerging security technologies, produce cost‑benefit analyses and recommend solutions.
• Prepare and coordinate the GIS budget, including capital and operating forecasts, and justify funding requests.
• Collaborate with Business Unit heads to create yearly IT business plans and track progress, escalating risks as needed.
• Produce availability and continuity plans in line with QNB’s standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in banking or financial services technology, with a strong focus on cyber security.
• Proven ability to translate market trends into actionable security strategies.
• Strong financial acumen for budgeting, cost‑benefit analysis and KPI management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior business leaders.
• Leadership experience at senior executive level, preferably in a large, multi‑national organization.
