SEO Specialist

About the role

NobleProg is seeking an SEO Specialist to lead search engine optimisation across its 200+ websites. You will design and implement automated testing, optimise content and collaborate with development and editorial teams to improve rankings.

Key responsibilities

• Research and implement automated link‑checking and HTML validation tools on Linux command line.
• Execute tests, collect and analyse data from Elasticsearch, Apache logs, Matomo and Google Analytics.
• Design and A/B test new SEO concepts, optimise copy and landing pages.
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation.
• Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in new code.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to drive SEO‑focused content creation.
• Recommend changes to site architecture, linking and content to improve keyword positions.
• Help design automated testing for schema.org and other SEO‑boosting elements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO, including content strategy and link building.
• Up‑to‑date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.

Required skills

• HTML and CSS knowledge.
• Basic PHP and JavaScript.
• Linux command‑line proficiency.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Matomo and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with tools such as linkchecker, tidy, w3c‑linkcheck, wget2.
