Shop Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, customer‑focused Shop Manager to lead daily operations of a retail store. The role combines team leadership, sales optimisation and operational efficiency across fashion, lifestyle, sports or consumer‑goods environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day‑to‑day store operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve concerns promptly.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs and business targets.
• Analyse sales trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage inventory activities including stock movements, transfers, replenishment, shrinkage and cycle counts.
• Ensure visual merchandising complies with brand standards.
• Coordinate receipt of shipments and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Prepare staff schedules based on operational needs and sales targets.
• Lead, motivate, train and evaluate store team members.
• Maintain store cleanliness, maintenance and overall presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Prepare operational and sales performance reports for management.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of store staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of retail experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience in inventory control and sales analysis.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
