Site Manager – Data Center

About the role

The Site Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of data‑center site activities, from initial installation through testing, commissioning, handover and warranty support. This role ensures that multidisciplinary systems are integrated, tested and delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of the data‑center site.
• Manage site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, OEMs and commissioning specialists.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, ELV, ICT, security, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, fire alarm and fire‑suppression systems.
• Conduct L4 Integrated Systems Testing (IST) covering failover, redundancy, utility loss, generator, UPS, cooling and emergency scenarios.
• Lead L5 performance and operational readiness testing, including load, endurance, reliability and emergency response.
• Work with clients, consultants, commissioning agents and OEMs during testing and handover.
• Manage punch‑list items, deficiencies, retesting and technical issue resolution.
• Ensure delivery of commissioning records, test reports, O&M manuals, as‑built drawings and handover documentation.
• Maintain compliance with HSE, quality, schedule, budget and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on data‑center or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong background in MEP installation, commissioning, L4 IST and L5 performance testing.
• Good understanding of data‑center electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, OEMs and client stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of HSE and site safety requirements.
