SOC Analyst L2 – Cyber Security Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Operations Analyst (Level 2) to join our SOC team. The role involves leading investigations, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, and delivering incident‑response support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Level 2 investigations, ensuring timely resolution and thorough documentation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity concerns.
• Conduct troubleshooting sessions with clients to resolve complex security issues.
• Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for security operations.
• Fine‑tune security tools and create use cases to address emerging threats.
• Perform proactive threat hunting across the organization’s network.
• Disseminate threat‑intelligence advisories to stakeholders.
• Monitor SIEM health, generate reports, and conduct SOC maturity and gap analyses.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a SOC or comparable cybersecurity role.
• Strong knowledge of incident‑response methodologies and threat landscapes.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., BTL2, CySA+, CEH, SC‑200, ECIR, eCTHP).

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIEM platforms such as Qradar, LogRhythm and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience administering SOAR platforms and building automated playbooks.
• Use of threat‑intelligence platforms and tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain SOPs and use cases.
