SOC Senior Analyst – Cybersecurity Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SOC Senior Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity operations team. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents using advanced SIEM, EDR, and Google SecOps tools.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events through SIEM, EDR, and related platforms.
• Perform incident detection, investigation, triage, escalation, and remediation.
• Analyze network, application, and system logs to uncover suspicious activity.
• Utilize Google SecOps and Google Chronicle for UDM‑based detections, YARA‑L rules, threat intelligence, timeline analysis, and entity investigations.
• Develop, tune, and optimize detection rules and SOC use cases to reduce false positives.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support risk mitigation initiatives.
• Assist with security controls, audits, policies, procedures, and compliance efforts.
• Prepare security reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective incident resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC or cybersecurity operations (MSSP experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of incident response, threat detection techniques, and network/system security.
• Hands‑on experience with Google SecOps / Google Chronicle.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and ITIL.
