Social Media Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to lead our social communication support system and help plan and execute professional social media strategies. The role focuses on delivering investment, awareness, and corporate messages in a clear, responsible, and compliant manner, aligned with Qatari financial market regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the company’s key investment, awareness, and corporate messages into compliant social media content.
• Ensure all content meets QFMA requirements, disclosure policies, and avoids misleading promotion.
• Support the creation of internal social media policies, approval processes, publishing guidelines, and digital crisis management plans.
• Identify, assess, and report on credible influencers and digital activists, coordinating negotiations within legal and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to review content, add appropriate disclaimers, and prevent direct buy/sell recommendations.
• Monitor campaign performance with a focus on reputation, trust, and awareness, and prepare regular performance and risk reports for management.
• Recommend continuous improvements to the social media strategy based on market developments and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media coordination, content management, or digital communications.
• Strong understanding of professional and compliant communication, especially within financial markets.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, produce reports, and manage influencer relationships.
