Software Engineer – E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading technology client focused on e‑commerce. The position is fully remote and ideal for new graduates who want to build scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services in a distributed environment.
• Write clean, testable code and follow best‑practice development standards.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features on schedule.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional remote team.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in e‑commerce.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Comfort with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
