Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading technology company that powers high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms worldwide. The position is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that enable real‑time user experiences across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best‑practice and testing standards.
• Profile, debug, and improve system performance through algorithmic optimizations.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
