Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading technology company’s e‑commerce team. This full‑time, remote position focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services in a distributed environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features on schedule.

Required profile

• Full‑time remote role suitable for new‑graduate or junior engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, fast‑paced teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
