Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a global technology leader and help build high‑performance e‑commerce backend systems. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work on mission‑critical infrastructure that serves millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud‑native development practices.
• SQL and NoSQL database experience.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipeline usage.
