Spa Therapist – Full‑Time

About the role

The Spa Therapist will deliver professional massage and body treatment services to guests at Marriott International’s spa in Doha. The role involves creating a relaxing environment, ensuring guest safety, and promoting the spa’s service and retail offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps and hydrotherapy.
• Assess each guest for contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before treatment.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations and drapes.
• Continuously check guest comfort and safety throughout the session.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Clean, sterilize and maintain tools and treatment areas, disposing of waste and linens.
• Monitor treatment schedule and adhere to time allocations.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott SOPs.
• Maintain required licensure, report accidents, and follow all company policies.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least one year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift ≤10 lb.
• Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
• No supervisory experience required.
