Speech and Language Therapist (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

The Speech and Language Therapist will join Brite Medical Centre in Doha to assess, diagnose and treat children and adults with speech, language, voice, fluency and communication difficulties. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering evidence‑based therapy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence‑based practices.
• Provide therapy sessions for children and adults, adapting approaches to cultural and linguistic contexts.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on home‑based strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions with physicians, psychologists and educators.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for registration in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Previous clinical experience in healthcare or educational settings (preferred).
• Strong assessment, diagnosis and treatment‑planning abilities across age groups.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient‑centered care, confidentiality and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
