Statistical Analyst

About the role

The Statistical Analyst will collect, clean, and interpret data to support strategic planning, performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives. The role delivers analytical insights, prepares statistical reports and dashboards, and enables evidence‑based decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate, clean and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, correlations and performance gaps.
• Prepare periodic statistical reports, dashboards and analytical summaries for management.
• Develop, monitor and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support forecasting and predictive modelling.
• Create data visualisations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Support benchmarking studies, surveys and research projects applying statistical methodologies.
• Monitor data quality, recommend improvements to data collection and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in statistical analysis, data analytics or performance measurement, preferably in a government or public‑sector environment.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, quality management or KPI monitoring.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical software such as SPSS, R, Python and SAS.
• Database and query skills using SQL.
• Advanced Excel for data manipulation.
• Data‑visualisation tools including Power BI and Tableau.
