Studio Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Studio Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations, workflow, resourcing and delivery of projects within our creative studio. The role ensures projects move efficiently from briefing to final delivery in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow and studio operations, reviewing and filtering project briefs for clarity and completeness.
• Lead creative projects from concept through to final completion, establishing timelines, priorities and deliverables.
• Allocate internal team members, freelancers and external resources based on project needs.
• Monitor team workload, utilisation, attendance and progress, identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate closely with Creative, Account Management, Marketing, Production, Finance and other departments.
• Communicate project briefs, timelines, changes and feedback to internal teams and clients.
• Manage freelancers, vendors and third‑party production partners, monitoring costs and seeking optimisation opportunities.
• Maintain organised digital assets, project files and documentation, ensuring on‑time delivery with quality standards.
• Provide regular reports on progress, resource requirements, risks and studio performance.
• Support team development, mentoring, performance management and a positive working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film & Television, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in studio management, creative project management or agency operations.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• High level of initiative, accountability, integrity and professionalism.

Required skills

• Experience with creative/design software and digital file management systems.
• Good understanding of print and digital specifications and production processes.
