Tech Cell Engineer Level II – Light Maintenance Production Control

About the role

The Tech Cell Engineer Level II supports the Light Maintenance Production Control Center, ensuring coordination of system‑related activities across Line Production Control, Light Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance centres. The role focuses on technical compliance, resource optimisation and timely execution of aircraft maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming Deferred Defects (DDs), Troubleshooting Recommendations (TSRs) and technical support requests from line maintenance and quality engineering.
• Review Aircraft Maintenance Pre‑Input Packages to highlight critical tasks, modifications and operational risks while meeting Turnaround Time (TAT) requirements.
• Assess first‑time and complex maintenance tasks for manpower, material, spare parts, tooling and logistics readiness before work acceptance.
• Provide technical reviews, task‑card amendment recommendations and feasibility assessments for complex or major modification tasks.
• Coordinate with Production Planning and Engineering to secure approved documentation, serviceable equipment, tools and parts prior to execution.
• Analyse recurrent system defects, propose troubleshooting solutions and communicate lessons learned to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (EN.01) with company authorization for QR fleet type rating.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, Part M and Part‑145 regulations and aircraft maintenance data.
• Proven project management, decision‑making and analytical skills in a high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent English communication (spoken, written and reading) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
