Telemarketing Officer

About the role

The Telemarketing Officer will drive business growth for JobSeib Insurance and Reinsurance by identifying and converting potential clients, achieving sales targets, and expanding the retail portfolio. You will promote the company’s insurance products, manage the end‑to‑end sales process, and ensure customers receive suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Describe insurance products and services thoroughly to prospects.
• Respond to all customer queries throughout the sales process.
• Identify and overcome objections, guiding customers to informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and continuously update the database.
• Generate new business opportunities through referrals and leads.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative targets, including new business generation and conversion ratios.
• Support retail portfolio growth through proactive sales activities and regular client reviews.
• Conduct follow‑up calls, manage pipelines, and track competitive initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of verbal and written communication and resolve customer conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven track record in sales.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic and additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Qatari travel‑agent market and existing contacts is advantageous.
