Tender Estimator – Civil Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

The Tender Estimator is responsible for producing accurate, competitive and compliant cost estimates for major civil construction and infrastructure projects. Working closely with project teams, the role supports the full tendering lifecycle to secure new business and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender drawings, BOQs, specifications and contract documents.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs and price materials, labour and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare professional tender submissions and commercial proposals.
• Support budgeting and cost‑planning activities for project teams.
• Evaluate project risks, timelines and feasibility.
• Maintain up‑to‑date pricing records, tender documents and cost databases.
• Ensure all submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in tender estimation or construction costing.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, infrastructure and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation and project budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
