Treasury Analyst (Front Office)

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Front Office team, acting as the primary liaison with external banks, QatarEnergy subsidiaries, and internal departments. The role focuses on managing treasury operations, financing, and supporting LNG trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with external counterparties, including banks and affiliate companies.
• Coordinate treasury activities with internal departments across QatarEnergy.
• Support trade and corporate financing for LNG transactions.
• Utilize treasury systems and ERP tools to process payments, manage cash, and monitor risk.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in a trading house or similar environment with exposure to LNG trading and corporate financing.
• Previous experience in oil & gas (LNG) or banking is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, people management, and coaching abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with treasury middleware platforms.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg terminal.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Treasury Risk Module (TRM) or comparable ERP systems.
