UAT Tester – Cards & Payments

About the role

We are seeking an experienced UAT Tester to join a busy cards and payments delivery team for a leading regional bank. The role is on‑site in Doha for a minimum of 12 months and focuses on user acceptance testing of new card launches, enhancements and compliance updates.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into structured test scenarios, test cases and test data covering issuance, authorisations, settlements, disputes and rewards.
• Execute end‑to‑end transaction validation across card management, switching, scheme connectivity and partner systems (ATM, POS, e‑commerce).
• Log, triage and track defects using Azure DevOps or JIRA, and perform regression testing after fixes.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, QA engineers and business users to keep test cycles on schedule.
• Produce UAT execution reports, requirement traceability matrices and obtain formal sign‑off before production release.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of UAT or QA experience in banking and payments.
• Hands‑on delivery of card product launches, enhancements or compliance‑driven changes.
• Experience testing credit, debit and prepaid card products across the full transaction lifecycle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Card Management System such as Way4 or TSYS PRIME.
• Defect‑management tooling experience: Azure DevOps and/or JIRA.
