Vice President Quality Control

About the role

The Vice President Quality Control will lead the implementation of Group Operation’s quality control standards across a range of operational domains, including Assets Operations, Trade Finance, Accounts Operations and Loans Operations. The role ensures that processes, systems and projects adhere to the bank’s strategic objectives and quality certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Group’s vision for quality control standards and monitor compliance across all Operations domains.
• Control and monitor ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic project plan.
• Review and approve enhancements to process and system quality certifications.
• Conduct development and re‑engineering studies for identified processes, products or services for international branches.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, error rates and service level agreements, reporting results periodically.
• Implement best practices and KPI frameworks specific to the Vice President Quality Control function.
• Delegate authority to staff, oversee its exercise, and act within delegated powers.
• Provide accurate information to internal and external auditors and the Compliance function as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to achieve group objectives and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Demonstrated understanding of the factors influencing a bank’s financial and non‑financial performance.
• Proven ability to monitor performance metrics and drive quality improvements.
• Experience in delegating authority and supervising staff within a large financial institution.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
