V.I.E Subcontract Administrator – Buildings (F/M)

About the role

Join Technip Energies as a V.I.E Subcontract Administrator on the North Field South (NFS) LNG project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. Working under the Construction Contracts Engineer, you will support the management of subcontractor relationships and commercial aspects of the construction contract.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and monitor the contractual and commercial operations of the NFS construction contracts.
• Assist the local manager in tracking and responding to requests for additional work.
• Manage cost and extension‑of‑time claims from and to subcontractors.
• Perform monthly tracking of invoicing and payments to subcontractors.
• Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors and prepare monthly activity reports.
• Draft contract amendments and track related correspondence.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, scheduling and other disciplines to ensure uninterrupted subcontractor performance.
• Participate in regular site visits and HSE inspections.

Required profile

• Graduate of a general engineering school.
• Motivated to gain hands‑on experience on a large‑scale onshore LNG project.
• Meticulous, proactive team player with strong professionalism.
• Comfortable handling contractual, financial and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
• Adaptable to diverse cultural and environmental settings.
