About the role

The Division of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University at Qatar seeks a part‑time, non‑tenure‑track Visiting Lecturer in Chemistry. The appointment begins on 1 August 2026 and focuses on teaching undergraduate chemistry courses to engineering students on the Doha campus.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and laboratory sessions for undergraduate chemistry courses.
  • Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi, presentations, and lab manuals.
  • Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and practical evaluations.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.

Required profile

  • PhD in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated academic and teaching experience at well‑respected universities.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. higher‑education system and its teaching standards.
