Visual Merchandiser – Retail (IKEA Qatar)

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser ensures that IKEA Qatar stores reflect the brand’s visual standards and commercial objectives. Working closely with interior designers and store teams, you will create inspiring, functional displays that enhance the customer experience while adhering to IKEA manuals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate visual displays for accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self‑serve areas, Swedish Food Market, and Exit Café.
• Maintain the integrity of the IKEA concept by following brand manuals and producing functional home‑furnishing solutions.
• Collaborate with the 1st Interior Designer to develop display concepts aligned with current commercial activities.
• Work with Sales and In‑Store Logistics teams to implement projects and daily sales steering activities using IKEA display solutions.
• Support the store commercial calendar and ensure cost‑effective, safe, and environmentally friendly displays that comply with local legislation.
• Keep detailed knowledge of home‑furnishing solutions relevant to the local market.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 2‑5 years of experience in retail visual merchandising or interior design.
• Strong ability to visualize, design, and communicate home‑furnishing and retail solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a collaborative team approach.
