Visual Merchandising Specialist

About the role

The Visual Merchandising Specialist will work within the Marketing department of QDFC, creating and executing visual concepts that attract customers and drive sales across all QDF stores in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative visual concepts in line with the visual merchandising strategy.
• Design and install window displays, signage, floor‑plan displays and special promotions.
• Execute seasonal changes, mannequin dressing, background updates and in‑store artwork.
• Compile implementation reports and submit them to QDF Management and brand partners.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to produce and install window backgrounds and visual props.
• Assist in assembling and dismantling visual displays in stores and windows.
• Collaborate with buying and marketing teams to ensure timely rollout of monthly promotional collaterals.
• Maintain travel‑allowance signage and marketing collateral throughout the airport.
• Merchandise new product arrivals and support store/kiosk openings.
• Order acrylic displays, visual merchandising props and maintain inventory at the distribution centre.
• Visit landside shops regularly to ensure visual standards are upheld.
• Submit photographic documentation of implementations to management and brands.
• Create visual merchandising packs that communicate layout principles and signage guidelines.
• Lead, motivate and develop the visual merchandising team to meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in visual merchandising within a retail or airport environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership capability to guide and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with store managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
