Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Doha as a Warehouse Assistant, supporting the Airfreight Gateway operations. You will be responsible for receiving, handling, picking, shipping and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy, safety and compliance with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments, off‑load, inspect for damage or shortage, and put away using RF devices.
• Verify material against work orders, adjust for expiry or batch variance, and maintain stock in the work area.
• Perform pallet stretch‑wrapping and other value‑added services.
• Pick orders according to tickets, pack shipments (including temperature‑sensitive products), and optimise truck space.
• Prepare and label orders for dispatch, segregate by delivery location, and monitor packing material supplies.
• Report issues to supervisors, perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, and document returns.

Required profile

• Attention to detail for inspecting shipments and verifying quantities.
• Ability to operate RF devices and material handling equipment safely.
• Physical stamina for loading, unloading and manual handling tasks.
• Strong communication to notify supervisors of shortages or discrepancies.
• Commitment to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
