Web Optimization Specialist

About the role

The Web Optimization Specialist will join Qatar Airways’ Digital Experience Optimization team. You will plan, execute and analyse experimentation and personalisation initiatives across the airline’s website and mobile app, driving data‑backed improvements to the digital experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch A/B tests, multivariate tests and personalisation experiences using Adobe Target.
• Create test plans, hypotheses, success metrics and audience definitions while avoiding conflicts with other activities.
• Write and maintain custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery) to deliver and manipulate test variations.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, analysts and data teams to define requirements, segmentation logic and experience variants.
• Analyse performance data with Adobe Analytics and produce actionable recommendations for product owners and senior stakeholders.
• Operationalise personalisation strategies by building and QA‑ing audience segments, triggers and decision rules.
• Benchmark UX and content practices, identify friction points and propose uplift opportunities.
• Lead end‑to‑end test execution, including QA, coordination with IT, live monitoring and post‑test analysis.
• Document outcomes, learnings and recommendations in the experimentation knowledge library.
• Support the Testing & Optimisation Manager in scaling the practice through training and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
• Proven experience working cross‑functionally with product, design and data teams.
• Detail‑oriented approach to QA, documentation and knowledge sharing.
