About the role

The Accounts Payable position at Marriott International in Doha supports the finance function by ensuring accurate entry of financial data, safeguarding cash assets, and complying with internal policies and audit requirements. This full‑time role works on‑site and collaborates closely with internal teams and external banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, correct coding, and mathematical precision.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in line with company procedures.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information using journals and ledgers.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical data to compile financial records.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Audit cashier banks periodically and manage petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
• Document and act on cash variances according to standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with armored‑car services and primary banking institutions.
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes to ensure compliance.
• Follow all company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related accounts payable or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
